I don't really like the heat when I'm in the UK.
I've never been a fan of hot weather. The thought of being sticky hot in the UK doesn't appeal to me as much as being abroad in the sun. This summer, the weather has been a bit rubbish, but at least in the autumn it doesn't rain as much as it does in the summer which is a bonus!

I have lots of autumn clothes.
My wardrobe is full of darker clothes, so I'll actually have something to wear once autumn starts! It's not just the colours I have in my wardrobe. I seem to have lots of jumpers, jeans and dresses which are better suited for cooler weather. Sometimes, I'll even wear a summery top in autumn but swap my shorts for a pair of jeans!

I get so excited for Christmas from about October.
I'm a huge Christmas lover and the build up and excitement for Christmas starts really early for me. I'll start planning Christmas presents from October (I already know what I'm buying my boyfriend!).

Drinking hot drinks becomes more acceptable.
I always feel too hot to drink coffee or hot chocolate all day every day during the summer, so I tend to have just one a day, or none at all. But in autumn, it's cooler (generally), so I can drink as much of it as I like!

I love going back to university and having a fresh start to look forward to.
You know the feeling when you get ready to go back to uni with your new stationery, clothes and home bits? I absolutely love that feeling! It's the perfect excuse to stock up on new things and have a pre-autumn/winter blow out!
