I'm off to Madrid on Thursday for a long weekend (woo!). I don't usually go on mini breaks abroad like this, so this is a new experience for me. But I've made a list of what I'm taking away with me for three nights, and shared it with you guys so you can do the same if you go on a mini break abroad!

Other stuff:

• Clean underwear (I take a few pairs more than I need)
• A bikini (if you're headed somewhere you know there's a beach or pool)
• A top for each day
• A dress for evening
• Jeans (I tend to travel in these to save space)
• Sandals
• Comfy walking shoes (I tend to travel in these)
• Shorts (if it's going to be hot)
• Essential make up and wipes (I usually just take eyeliner, mascara, lipstick and foundation)
• Mini toiletries (shampoos, etc)
• Mini sun cream (only if you're headed somewhere nice and warm!)
• First aid stuff (plasters, etc)
