A Quick Guide to Prague

18:00:00

It's now been a whole year since I went to Prague, and I thought I would make a quick and easy guide to Prague!

Getting Around

Similarly to London and other European capital cities, the underground metro service is one of the best ways to get around Prague, along with the bus system. Personally though, I prefer the underground, just because there's no chance of being stuck in traffic.

You can get a 3 day travel card for just under £10.

Stuff to See and Do

Old Town Square
Located in the heart of the city, this is one of the busiest places in Prague. You can get a free walking tour from around here which takes you around the city.

Prague Astronomical Clock
Prague Astronomical Clock is within the Old Town Square. It is a medieval clock which is one of Prague's most visited tourist attractions.

Wenceslas Square
This area has lots of different shops, from souvenirs to your general high street. Here you'll find a number of bars, restaurants, shops and nightclubs.

Prague Castle
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Prague Castle is one of the world's largest ancient castles. It is currently the residence of the current President of the Czech Republic.
You really wouldn't think it is a castle when you first look at it, because it doesn't look like any castle you would find in the UK.

Letna Park
This is one of the best spots for a good view (and photo, of course!) of the sunset in Prague!

Charles Bridge
There are two sides to Prague, and Charles Bridge is one of the many bridges which connects both sides of the city.

Hope you find this useful if you're planning on visiting Prague any time soon!
